How Does the Free Website Program Work?
The Free Website Program is available only to organizations that enroll directly through DaronR Managing Partners and participate in a qualifying hosting and website management plan. Because we invest significant time into planning, design, development, and launch, the program requires a minimum one-year commitment. After completing the initial term, you may continue services with us or request a transfer of the website to your organization.
Please note: Websites created through volunteer programs, nonprofit marketplaces, donation initiatives, or third-party volunteer platforms are not part of the Free Website Program and may be subject to different terms, limitations, or support arrangements.
Who Owns My Website?
For custom website projects purchased directly from DaronR Managing Partners, you own the website and its content upon project completion and final payment. For organizations participating in the Free Website Program, ownership may be transferred after the required one-year commitment has been fulfilled. Ownership terms for volunteer-built websites may vary depending on the program or platform through which the website was provided.
What Happens If I Move My Website to Another Provider?
If you choose to move your website to another hosting provider or management company, your new provider will be responsible for the migration process. While we can provide reasonable access to website files and content, we are not responsible for issues that occur during or after the transfer. Many websites we build utilize premium themes, plugins, software licenses, and agency-managed tools that may not transfer with the website. If the website is moved, replacement licenses or alternative solutions may be required and are the responsibility of the website owner.
